Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join your agency?
You will need to fill out the online application form, read our Terms & Conditions and agree to them and then email us your photos and CV.

How old do you have to be?
At AMP Agency, we are currently only accepting models and staff who are 18 years of age or older. We also welcome applications from mature models and promotional staff.

Do I have to be a certain height?
Generally speaking, the taller you are the better your chance of getting work.  However, all assignments are different and may not require a minimum height.  For example, you may be required to be doing a 'sitting down' shoot or just your hands or face etc.  Height restrictions are also more relaxed for promotional work.

How many and what type of photographs should I send you?
You will need to send us at least 3 recent photographs of yourself, these must be of good quality photos (but preferrably not professionally taken such as makeover shots), at least one of these should clearly show a close-up of the head and shoulders. For fashion and commercial modelling applications, we also require a body shot displaying your physique.  Please DO NOT sent any photographs to us by post at this stage.

Do you charge an up front fee or a joining fee?
No, we do not charge for joining our agency. We only deduct our fees if we have secured an assignment for you. Beware of other agencies who charge an up front fee - this is now illegal.

Do I have to be in the UK?
Yes. We are currently only accepting applications and assignments based in the UK only.

Am I guaranteed work?
No. As with all other agencies, there is no guarantee that you will receive work through us. However, we will do our best to try and find you suitable work - After all, we only make money if you do.

How will I be paid?
You will be paid by AMP Agency and NOT by the client.  Payment will be made by either cheque or by BACS (electronic bank transfer).
