Terms
and Conditions for MODELS AND STAFF in the UK and UAE
These
Terms and Conditions of Business shall govern all assignments
relating to temporary workers entered into by AMP Agency
(a model and promotions agency fully owned by AsiaMAX
Media Limited) hereinafter called "AMP" and
a Client (hereinafter called the "Hirer")
who hires a member of the AMP workforce (hereinafter
called "Models/Staff Members") who shall be
any person introduced by AMP to the Hirer for the purpose
of carrying out any work.
AMP Models and Staff
Members agrees:
1. To
certify that they are at least 18 years of age.
2. To
supply AMP with a current NON-copyrighted portfolio
or photographs of an adequate standard for the purpose of
putting them on the AMP web site or to show the Hirer.
Photographs submitted to AMP must not be more
than 12 months old and where your physical appearance
has not changed.
3. Not
to submit copyrighted materials to AMP. Upon submitting
any materials you may be asked to sign a declaration
stating that the material is not copyrighted. Any
legal responsibilities thereafter shall be the responsibility
of the model/staff member in question and under no circumstances
shall AMP be held responsible.
4. To
notify AMP of any work connected with modelling, including
shows, hosting, catwalk, editorial, promotional, print
or any other media, past, present or future.
5. To
get authorisation from AMP of any work offered directly
by a client that you have worked with previously through
AMP.
6. Not
to use their online portfolio or other members’ portfolios
to promote any obscene services or activities prohibited
by the law.
7. That
by a member of the public becoming an AMP Model/Staff
Member they are not guaranteed that they would secure
an assignment or contract.
8. That
AMP will be responsible for all gross payments to the
Model/Staff member. Payment of all statutory contributions
and Income Tax is the responsibility of the Model/Staff
member. Payments will be made to the Model/Staff member by BACS or Cheque after completion of an assignment and 30 days after receiving the Model/Staff members invoice.
9. NOT
to give out their contact information, discuss pay or
booking with a client or other models/staff.
10. To
keep AMP updated with new photographs, contact details
and changes in physical appearance, circumstances, vital
statistics and any other information that may affect
you receiving assignments.
11. That
by submission of either/or a combination of photos,
images an online portfolio, web site and a completed
model release form does not guarantee a place in or
on the web site of AMP.
AMP agrees:
1. To
promote the company as a whole and its web site with
the intent of securing modelling, promotional or speciality
contracts for its models/staff members.
2. To
promote a model/staff member to current and any potential
clients where AMP feels the model/staff member may be
suitable for the assignment being offered. However,
as with any other model or promotional agency, AMP cannot
guarantee that a model/staff member will secure an assignment
through AMP.
3. That
all photographs taken or signed to AMP, shall not be
used to promote any pornographic or obscene products
or services.
4. To
pay models/staff members who have completed their assignment
in full upon receipt of an invoice from the model/staff within 30 days of the invoice.
5. All
models will be automatically entered into any competition
connected with AMP unless otherwise stated. The decision of the judges
will be final and they shall not enter into any correspondence
thereafter. All winners may appear on the AMP
web site or any other material or media where AMP has authorised.
6. Images
on the AMP web site cannot be downloaded for the purposes
of utilising the images for any activities not previously
agreed to by AMP.
